Can you reccommend a family friendly campsite in Hampshire/West Sussex fairly close to the beach?

We've never been camping before but we're going on the Bank Holiday weekend at the end of May with two children 3 & 5 years old.
I know there's various search websites but just wanted to get some feedback from mumsnet people.

The 'Must haves' are toilets and showers.
The 'Nice to haves' are a childrens play area and being very close to a beach.

Not sure what else is important, we're going to try and live without electricity for a few days.
Any suggestions appreciated.

there's very little in West Sussex - only 9 sites listed in the Big Sites Book! None of those that close to the beach..

i think there's a site in the Woods at Graffham near Chicester - enjoyed our stay there, no fires though...

Slindon was a nice grassy and open site...but no loos or showers.

there is a site at Old Salts Farm in Lancing, but haven't heard anything about it good or otherwise. Lancing beach is pleasant in high summer, but a stoney beach with sand that only shws at low tide.

So, I'm thinking Hampshire is more likely?
