Am going camping this weekend - Duke of Edinburgh expedition. Problem is have only been when my first dd was old enough to say if she was too hot/cold. Am taking dd2 (1) what would you put her in at night, please???

a layer underneath ie old duvet or blanket, then inside a decent sleeping bag and wearing a babygro and another layer under ie vest and socks or a fleece babygro over the top. Also take spare blanket to put over if you think she is cold.

I would use one of those winter pram suits and fashion a bed for her out of a large cardboard box to stop her rolling around the tent. Not sure how you would carry that though if you are backpacking!
