What do you put on the floor of your bell tent to keep it cosy?

We only have a couple of sheepskin mats which are lovely and warm to sit on but wondered if anyone had found some cosy, small enough to pack matting/rugs?

hi poppyboo - I NEED to know this too.
I have in mind a 4m diameter carpet - such as you would have in an outwell tent say, I also fancy a 4m diameter footprint groundsheet :o

i am sorting out a footprint for our bell tent, someone told me on here to go to B&Q and get a groundsheet thingy (can't remember exact name) for about £10, apparently they do them quite big...and it will do the job nicely. i need one that will be 5 meter diameter though!

We use our airbeds as sofas during the day and sit on them rather than on the floor - I bought some cheapish colourful woven throws that also come in handy as another sleeping layer, and once covered up they look really lovely.

I also have a nice thick tufted Union Flag rug (about 2.5m x 1m) that I bought on sale from a cheapo carpet warehouse type place which lives in DD's room when we're not camping (thankfully she likes it!), which goes at the front of the tent in the middle of the 3 airbeds, if that makes sense?

At night we put the picnic blankets beneath the airbeds for warmth, but have bought some foil-backed foam mats this year.

I need to get a 5m diameter footprint for our tent, will have to go to the inner circle of hell B&Q and investigate...

I have an outwell carpet from previous tent which we use. Also have the inner tent so thats an extra layer in the bedroom!
