Camping table - recommendations please

Either a picnic type table with seats attached or a sensibly priced table where we can add chairs. It's a nightmare sitting on the floor with 3 DC aged 6, 5 & 4

I've just bought a Suncamp set it's a roll up table and two bench seats but they are not joined together and the table has legs with adjustable height. Have a look on the Camperlands website it's on there - am on phone so can't post a link - I bought it last weekend and we tried it out in the garden (Dcs are 7 and 4) it seated all four of us comfortably and the seats fold up inside themselves to form a carry case for the table. It's an ingenious bit of kit!

Get adjustable legs. It will grow with the children and (fantastically) adjust to a non level pitch. I found a link to one on another recent thread. We make the DC's sit on the plastic storage boxes as they kept toppling off stools.

Those blue foldaway four seats and a table are fine so long as you are careful how you put them up. As an adult I wouldn't want to spend hours sitting at it, but it's fine for a meal and colouring/playing games. Not too pricy, either. I think you can get other colours than blue! they're £30 at the moment in Tesco and Argos.

You want a Kampa Hi-lo table in fact.

I bought this table good price but forgot to measure boot and it is 6cm too big! Read some old posts that recommended adjustable legs so you could use camping chairs..

Adjustable legs are great - the table we had when we were little was really good for uneven ground. And grew with us. Lots of good ideas, thanks
