I have a shiny new khyam day tent sitting on my lawn now! It's a really good size, and I managed to put it up alone when it arrived as I couldn't wait for DP to get home (well, maybe with the 'help' of DS (4) and DD (2)!)We looked for ages at the different types, and our shortlist was very similar to yours, but in the end the khyam won out. We already have a kyham awning for our camper van which has withstood some pretty good storms, so the 5000mm HH waterproofing of the day shelter was a positive. Although I loved the "throw it in the air" ease of the Quechua, with two littlies tearing around the stepover at the door was a factor (too many 'splat'-waaaaaaa's!). We haven't taken it camping yet, but as a BBQ shelter in the garden last weekend it worked really well!.
