Is it possible to get a taxi from La Rochelle airport to La Pignade resort?

Hi, I'm apprehensive about driving abroad and would prefer to get a taxi from the airport to the resort (50 miles) I think. Has anyone done this I have googled without much success and found one compny that charge astronomical prices.
Tips appreciated.

It's really not that difficult to drive though, it's just the same as here but different? What will you do without a car, assuming you are there for a week or more?

I picked a siblu site with lots of activities to minimise driving. I just get nervous driving and I'll need to get carseats for my 3ds as well. If I really have to drive I will but there's a beach within walking distance and since its just me and my 3 ds travelling I want to have v few hassles. People have told me that if the kids like the site they won't want to go anywhere else anyway.

No is the answer Jimmy. There are taxi firms but prices are extortionate-so I bit the bullet and drove. It was fine not stressful at all and la Rochelle airport as I'm sure you know is tiny so easy to find your way around. I hired a car with Europcar which was a hassle they couldn't get my deposit from my visa no idea why so I had to pay quite a bit for what was supposed to be the cheapest car hire.
