I was giong to recommend the New Forest, too. Don't know any specific site, though. Ukcampsite is a great website to check out camping related stuff.

Wareham Forest in Dorset. Campsite is fab and the beaches of Studland and Swanage are nearby. The downside is its a busy area very high season. Sorry I can't do links.

We've just come back from Cropton Forest. Was fab. We spent the day in Whitby on Saturday; Scarborough is nearby too. Spiers House
