How do you co-sleep with a six month old when camping? Is an inflatable bed safe? What kind of sleeping bag do I need?

We took DS camping last summer when he was 4mo & 6mo and he slept on a folded up blanket next to me. We don't have an inflatable mattress, more's the pity, just sleep on a thick duvet, so DS and I were at the same height. He slept in a gro-bag with a blanket over him.

with a sleepsuit on too? Vest? I just wondered because it's bound to be colder in a tent at night.

Yes, vest and sleepsuit. Although the second time we took him camping, it was the very end of September and it was bloody freezing so I think he wore a jumper and maybe another layer. It was too cold really!

We took DD twice last year when she was 4 months and 7 months. We had our inflatable king size bed. DH and I had sleeping bags and she slept between us in a grobag with a blanket wrapped around her.
