Am I mad in actually seriously concidering taking dh, ds 2.9 months and 6 month old dd camping for one night on monday?
We want to go away for the night but cant find a cheap enough hotel.
Advice please, WWYD?

You're mad! Considering all the packing you'll need to do. But be mad, it's more fun than being sensible (sometimes ;))

I went in Aug last year 8 months pg, i just dont want to freeze dd, never camped so early in the year but dh wants too :)

Tyson you mean2.9yrs yup? Not mad at all, we are doing exactly the same this summer. Ignorance is bliss!! It's the 2.9th old I'd be most worried about-I have no idea how to fence Ds in, dd will be fine, but possible crawling-I might tether her to a peg

The only thing I would be worried about would be the cold. I have been leaving the house at 6.30 am recently and the car has had ice on it. The temp has been 1-4 degrees. It's not even Easter yet!

Bloody hell judge, that is my fear. I didnt realise it was that cold still, with the sun out atm.

Oooh just spotted you said Monday sorry-we had 20c plus daytime temps last week, but still had frost in last 10d (s.coast)so will be v cold at night. May be you are mad after all?!!!! I going end of may for first booked trip :)
