new tent - [grin]

Just come back from Decathlon in Reading and got dh to agree to me buying this Only £99.

Its a quechua 2 Seconds XXL IIII, dh wasn't keen as we already have a huge outwell florida 6 for long camps and a kampa frinton 4 for weekends. However I wanted something that I could put up easily myself for camping with dc's when he is working.

It will be really handy as an overnight tent if we decide to go further south in France and don't want to do the drive in 1 day.

The staff in Decathlon were really helpful. They put up and collapsed the tent twice to show me how to do it and then let me fold it up another 3 times myself until I felt happy that I knew what I was doing.

It's fab - can't wait to get away now

Forgot to mention - as part of the new tent bargain that I made with dh i'm selling our Outwell Oregon 3 with foorprint on uk campsite for £50 if anyone looking for a good quality festival tent.

I have a base seconds 4.1 for when we cba to put up the big tent, last year we used a vango porch with it but we lost that to high winds so I have just bought a base seconds in the sale £35 with del. To give us a bit more space.

pop up tents are brilliant for when I want to go away with just the kids, I have several now of different shapes and sizes.

Had a practice pitch yesterday. No problems getting it up but I still need to watch the you tube video carfully each time before I get it down.

Must practice more as I don't want to get stuck when I can't get you tube up on my phone due to being camped in a no signal area.
