Hi,

I've just stumble across this site. Has anyone been? I especially like that fact that we can book the pitches online as there are a few of us going.

Any thoughts? I think it looks lovely but I'm a new camper so maybe missing something

Thanks

Thanks for that Furball. Very useful website. Sounds just what we're looking for.

I have been!It is lovely, very eco-friendly , chilled out sort of place! The only complaint I had was we didn't book a pitch so weren't right next to a fire pit and even though the fire pits were meant to be shared the family that were next to the fire pit put all there stuff around it, took it all over and basically hogged it [hmmm] The owners made a point of the fact that the fire pits were supposed to be used by everyone.... We ended up with a fire basket thing that was a bit rubbish!

Also, only go to this site if you are comfortable watching your kids 24/7 if they are young because there is a lot of water! My little one kept running towards the water which made it a bit stressful LOL

There is a great zip wire for older kids.
We got given fresh eggs daily free!
There was only one shower when we went but it was clean and two toilets.
The washing up area was very clean and they had stuff to use incase anyone forgot liquid etc.
It is lovely not having parked carss next to tents but it does mean you have to wheel all your stuff in a wheelbarrow, but it was good fun but took a while!

Thank you poppyboo. We've booked a cluster of 3 pitches without a fire pit so the fire baskets will have to do. Hopefully x 3 it will be effective enough. Thought that firepit hogging maybe an issue.

The children will be 8 and 4 so in theory (yeah right) they should stay away from the water but thanks for the warning as a very careful eye will still be needed.

Is there anywhere for the children to play ball games? To be me it sounds perfect but I'm getting worried I'm basing it on a romantic view of getting away from everything and not be realistic with 2 boys for a week.

Thank you so much
