Bumped into my dad in the post office and he was asking me about putting his caravan awning on ebay when the woman behind jumped in and asked if it was a tent he was selling. We said no but I asked her what size tent she wanted as we've been thinking we really should sell our Vango to make some room. She said the bigger the better as it will be her and 5 kids so of course our Vango Diablo 600 would be perfect.
She has taken my phone number and is going to ring in a couple of days (she says) but I don't know what I could expect to get for it? It has been used about 4 or 5 times, still looks fabulous and has a footprint groundsheet to go with it.
The thing is, we don't really need it as we have another tent now, but we replaced it because it was too hard to put up, not because it isn't a fantastic tent (it really is - once up!), so I'd rather hang on to it just in case than let it go for next to nothing. On the other hand, it would be embarrassing to ask too much.
