bell tent?

Love the sound and look of the bell tents. Looking to get a big tent for family of 4 to have holidays in. Some people have said don't get canvas as is too heavy and difficult to dry, is this true of these tents?

We have a 5' canvas bell tent. I loooooove it! Grin It's so light and airy to wake up in in the morning- none of that sweaty airless feeling you get with nylon.

To be honest, we haven't had to take it home wet through- whenever it's rained while we've been away it's always dried in the sun before we've had to pack up (lucky!), but we always air it over the bannisters after use anyway (just wondering if we actually did that last time? Oh dear!).

Get one-you won't be disappointed! Smile

Another fan - we have the 4m (but I would recommend 5m for a family of 4), and it is fabulous. We actually tried out our Vango Orchy again on the last camp (our tent before the bell), and it was just not the same. We might keep the Vango to use if we ever go camping with friends without a tent or sell it in the future, but we would definitely only go in the bell from now on. It's also beautifully light and spacious in there in the day - ideal for card games etc when raining outside.
