Just returned from camping

Just thought I would report back on our last camping trip of the year - Fort william was absolutely glorious - 80 degrees (ish). Fantastic campsite with great facilities. This has been our first year camping, and definately feel that it has been one of the best (but expensive initial layout)purchases we have ever made. But alas it is now time for the tent to be put away.

Does this mean that autumn is here???

what about it made it so good? what could have been better?

I'm nosy as I'm dreaming of setting up a really cool campsite!

clean showers, plug sockets (so i could use my straightners!), lots of space - didn't feel crammed in. Lots of showers/toilets and sinks etc etc Lots of water points around the site - there were about 5 or 6 different fields - one reserve for peoplw who had made reservations.

Oh and i forgot overlooking Ben Nevis - what a view from your tent!

Jea-lous. I love that area of Scotland, it's a second home to me. When the weather's great the weather's GREAT!

I am desperate to go again but DH isn't keen on cool evenings and freezing mornings in a tent so I guess that's us until May!
