I am trying to find a birthday pressie for a friend - she is in her 40s and has only just discovered camping - and loves itGrin She has bought a load of essentials from ebay, so i am trying to find her something which she won't have thought of yet.

I have read the a lot of posts on here, but if i am honest, i dont really know where to start. Money is tight, so around a tenner would be great. ALso, she lives some distance away, so it either has to be postable, or from amazon (so i can get it gift wrapped)

Does anyone have any ideas please?

What about this solar shower? They do it on Amazon but it is more expensive.

sporks

tindersticks

or solar fairy lights for glamping!

tealight lantern
bunting (is she a pimp-ma-tent kinda girl do you think?)
pretty blanket/throw

If she's a more of a muddy knees kinda camper...
How about one of those gadgetty tools (bottle opener/screw driver /knife)
camping cook book?

How about a subscription to Camping Magazine. £40 for the year. I love it when mine arrives!

i second a camping cook book - this one is good and costs 7 quid on Amazon.

thanks guys, i knew i could count on youSmile

she has already got -

solar shower (which she loves!)
tinder sticks (even though campsite doesnt allow campfires!)
solar lights
swiss army type knife.

and is not a bunting type i'm afraid

So, i am thinking of the cook book. They go to the same site each Friday to Sunday - which is basically a field with a pub at the end, but i know she has a little camping stove, so a cook book sounds just about right. ThanksSmile
