I bought the £6 single skin 2 man tent from B&Q. I've put it up in the garden yesterday when it was chucking it down.
It's surprisingly waterproof. The water looks like it only got in when I opened the door. Although I wouldn't want to test this with actual camping.
DS loves it so much that we now have to buy a proper tent as this one is just for playing.
