Hello campers! We've just bought a this tent[[http://www.blacks.co.uk/camping/tents/3-4-person-tents/product/092914.html#qaPanel] from Blacks. Seemed like a bargain but now I'm wondering if it actually is. Said in the shop it was reduced from £239 t £71.99, so we thought yay, must be an absolute steal. But having looked online they don't seem to sell for anything like £239. Basically, we want an easy to pitch tunnel like tent with two bed pods (one each end that hold two people) with standing room area inbetween. We don't want to spend over £120 ideally, but want it to last. Any ideas?

No, it is nowhere near worth £239. Probs worth what you paid though, I have almost the same tent and its fine.

You would have been better with this if you need more gear like the beds etc :

Ah, interesting you say that Loves, because we had bought that exact pack, and went one nights camping in it. There were huge gaps in the stitching along the part where the poles fit in, and also the elasitcated hooks that attach the bed pod to the tent were fraying. Also the sleeping bags were crap, so we took the whole thing back and got a refund. Then went next door to Blacks and bought the Eurohike Cairngorn! so now we're wondering if we should take that back too. THere just seems to be a huge jump in prices between this sort of level tent and the next, which are over £300 - more than we really want to spend for a weekending tent Sad. So if anyone can recommend a cheaper one that would be great!

If I were you, I would keep the cairngorn, you don't need to spend £300 on a tent. It will do you fine for weekends!
