Does a lantern exist that is solar-charged but can plug into EHU if neccessary? Failing that, what lantern can you recommend? Thanks.

Hmmm! You were right - obviously camping lanterns is a conversation cul-de-sac! Thanks for replying.

I bought some circular (like UFOs) from ASDAs or Wilkinsons last year and they were fantastic. I will never go back to lanterns. They are really bright and about £4 each.

We have some solar ones but unfortunatly they were from woolworths, they are good for getting changed etc, but no good for reading. We bought a ufo led thingy from Aldi which uses batteries but is really bright.
