I'm hoping someone can recommend us a suitable campsite for mid-August. Myself and DH will be in a tent with DD1 (2.6) and DD2 (4 months), coming up from Salisbury. PIL's and BIL (13) will be in a caravan, driving down from Newcastle. We'd like somewhere in the middle. PIL's normally go to CL's and don't really like sites with any facilities (although they're changing a bit with a teenager to keep entertained although he adores his nieces so they are probably entertainment enough this time). We normally avoid sites which take caravans and also sites with "entertainment" although a decent shower block is essential. Campfires would be a bonus but not a dealbreaker. Anyone know of a lovely quiet site, which takes caravans and tents and is somewhere in the middle of the country?
