I've been trawling the web for hours and don't really know what I'm looking for and I'm going a bit cross eyed.

We want to find a family friendly site that is near the coast of Lincolnshire or Norfolk, not too far from a town or village or things to do for a 5 year old, for the 3rd week in August. Want to have showers and loos. Maybe a kids play area but that really isn't essential.

I'm looking at web pages and thinking "yep, that's a campsite, and yep so's that..." but have no idea how to choose.

What do you look for on a web site that tells you it's good? At this rate I'll be booking a B&B and all that bunting will got to waste.... arf

I've not been over that way, so I don't know personally.
But that UKCampsite website is good for reviews of sites in an area you're looking at.

Ll It all gets a bit much doesn't it. It gets to the stage where you can't remember which sites you liked the look of and which you didn't so end up looking at the all all over again

We trawled through all the campsites for North Norfolk on Uk campsite, a lot of them are booked up already (we were looking at beginning of June). We finally settled on Manor Farm at East Runton, it sounds nice and quiet and a simple site, ie toilets , showers etc. Its 10 mins from the coast which is a plus. It's quite reasonable price wise too . We're off for a week next Saturday.
