I always swore to myself I would never descend to calorie counting, I would lose the baby weight by running every single day. Bear in mind I had packed on 20kg during the pregnancy (a lot of Ben and Jerry’s). Once I had recovered from having a head rip through me, I ran 4-5k daily, sometimes when it was still dark, before my husband had to get up. 18 months later I ran my first half marathon.
life intervened, I stopped running and the pounds packed on. Half attempted diets, long hikes.
back on the running and now monitoring my diet as to how many calories I should be having…
