I‘m hoping to lose a stone by Christmas. I‘ve been yoyo-ing since last Christmas 🙄 Thinking about what to eat and calorie counting has taken over my life, and I have nothing to show for it. Main downfall is booze, and last Friday I decided to cut it out for a while.

I would genuinely be happy to eat the same 3 meals every day, so I don’t have to think about it and meal plan anymore.

Does anyone have a zero effort, minimum prep meal plan for me? 1300 calories, vegetarian or chicken or fish.

dd made cabbage soup yesterday - in the hunt for diet food
although i seems very similar to rustic soup which I make which includes potatoes and canelloni beans.

  • Breakfast:
  • Greek yogurt with berries and a sprinkle of nutsor seeds.
  • Oatmeal with fruit and a source of protein like nuts or protein powder.
  • Scrambled eggs with spinach.
  • Lunch:
  • Salad with grilled chicken/tofu or chickpeas, plenty of vegetables, and a simple vinaigrette.
  • Whole-wheat wrap with tuna or chicken/tofu salad(using Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise can be a lighter option) and lots of vegetables.
  • Leftovers from dinner.
  • Dinner:
  • Baked chicken/tofu or fish with roasted vegetables.
  • Lentil soup or stew.
  • Stir-fry with chicken/tofu and plenty of vegetables, served with a small portion of brown rice.
  • Snacks:
  • Fruit (apples, bananas, oranges).
  • Vegetable sticks (carrots, celery, cucumber) with hummus.
  • A handful of nuts or seeds.
  • Hard-boiled eggs.

Get yourself on keto! I’ve lost 2 stone since June and DH has lost nearly 3. Doesn’t even feel like a diet.

ChatGPT is great for the sort of thing. It will calculate calories and macros, and even do you a shopping list.
