First of all, which is better (and why?)
Secondly, why are they so expensive in comparison to normal hot chocolate?! 😰

They are expensive because they are relying on people who want to lose weight buying them as a diet option, so it’s like a diet tax for desperate people. Neither taste great.

There is 1 calorie in a teaspoon of cocoa powder, 16 calories in a teaspoon of sugar (less in granulated sweetener), 13 calories in 25ml semi skimmed milk - you could just make your own a lot cheaper? Although I prefer a hot Choc made fully of milk rather than hot water and a splash of milk, it would be more satisfying than a hot choc sachet too tbh.

Tesco own brand jar (not the budget one) low cal instant hot chocolate is surprisingly tasty. It frequently fixes a chocolate fix for me, especially during winter.

I think those sachets taste too watery in comparison, plus they are very expensive in comparison. IST the jar costing about £1.40 last time I got it. I expect other supermarkets use the same factory too.
