i am now addicted to the recipe above and I am wondering if it’s a no no of diet. I guess my question is, is it fattening?

@Atarin thanks. The problem is my addictive traits. I do have loads of it every other day or so

If you’re trying to lose weight and you admit you can get addicted to food/eating too much, then I don’t think this is a good treat for you. There’s a temptation to gorge on it thinking it’s healthy, when it isn’t much better than a regular cheesecake. Anything in excess isn’t great and I know it’s difficult to stop. I think it might help you if you address the addictive behaviour as that seems to be the root cause. Eating 20 dates is not going to be better for you than eating a square of chocolate. Does that make sense?
