Hi

I'm hoping someone out there has a better insight into calorie counting than me!

I'm currently on a 1500 calories, however most days I do 10,000 steps then a spin/ weights 3 to 4 times a week. I lost weight quickly to begin with but have platoed massively.

Is this to less of calories? But having more when I'm not loosing doesn't seem to make sense?

If anyone has some knowledge I'd appreciate it

If you’ve lost weight then you need to recalculate your tdee.
Weight loss calorie target is 20% less than your tdee.

What's a tdee

MentallyDatingDaveGrohl · 03/04/2025 06:52

Total daily energy expenditure. It’s how many calories you should eat to stay exactly as you are. To lose weight you take 20% off your tdee figure. Calculator below

I'm slightly taller than you but I did similar to what pp has said I need 1300 calories to maintain so stuck to about 1000-1100 when loosing.
