What’s for dinner?!

Hi

Just looking for some ideas and inspiration for some dinner ideas, ideally 500 cals or under? I’ve batch cooked some chilli and bolognaise so have them ready for this week. Today i’m making chicken (half a breast) in honey & mustard sauce. That works out low calorie as only a small amount of honey and rest is just low fat Philly, half a teaspoon of whole grain mustard and small amount of chicken stock. With half a packet of mash and carrots it’s under 400 cals.

So what are you having and how many calories is it? Pics welcomed!! Thank you

I’ve just made veggie stroganoff and had it with a slice of wholemeal toast. 483 calories.

I had a big salad with 1 chicken thigh and lentils (about 350 calories,) followed by a toffee crisp and a cup of tea (about 240 calories,) it was nice enough.. salad was a bit lacking in dressing but wanted the toffee crisp more than the dressing!

I had sticky miso beef with wholegrain rice, pickled cucumber, and some tomatoes from the garden. All home made, very quick and easy. 529 kcal

I had tuna mayo salad, a tangerine and some walnuts & almonds.

Probably about 500 cals? I haven't put it into mfp yet.

Tofu and shiitake mushrooms in oyster sauce with brown rice and a big old pile of broccoli. Works out about 400-450cals.

I had some leftover homemade chilli in a wrap was 264 calories but had a choc afterwards (130)

Thanks all. Hope everyone’s doing well. I’ve had a few different options for dinner and try and mix it up a bit. I’ve lost 6.6lbs now in 3wks and really pleased. It’s so noticeable to me, stomach gone down and this extra fat I had bursting out of bra sides has gone down considerably. I’ve been in deficit by 1000 cals at least per day as I joined a walking group and I’ve walked 4 times this week, plus done 15k steps weekdays min.

Danger next week as I’m away from home for 4 days for 30th birthday of family member. At the mercy of family cooking plus takeaway / meal out. Got to try and stick to some kind of rules, even though I know I’m going to have at least one slice of the £60 cake I’ve ordered, of course! Got a work conference too, nightmare!! Doing so well, in the zone well and truly and this could ruin it
