Hi all,

I'm going to use this as an accountability thread and post my daily calories and exercise and will update weekly with weight loss stats.

Today Sunday 16th July 2023

Weight 107kg.

Breakfast
Cup of tea and breakfast bar
276kcal

Dinner
Chicken pasta salad
430kcal

Tea
Curry ready meal with naan bread
773kcal

I've been drinking water all day so will add 10kcal to this.

No exercise as two kids under two and the weathers been dreadful. I have ordered an under the desk treadmill so will be adding more exercise from Thursday.

My fitness pal says my total cals is 1560 and total today was 1532kcal.

Hi I'll join. I'm great at tracking my calories during the week but it tends to go to pot at the weekend when the wine and takeaway menus come out. I'm also really bad for snacking which throws my progress off too. I have about 2 stone to lose and I'm so fed up if my bad eating habits and lack of willpower setting me back.

I will start tomorrow and track with you :-)

cactusjane · 16/07/2023 22:44

P.s your Sunday looked really good with zero snacks. Wish I had that focus!!

saveforthat · 16/07/2023 22:46

Why add calories for water? Surely water is zero calories

Mamiamamia · 16/07/2023 23:00

Joining, as I have completely fallen off the wagon the last couple of days. Haven’t kept record of my calories today but it has certainly been far to much including at least 5 Oreo’s 😳

I have however got back the motivation to exercise again after no exercise at all since the end of June.

did 15 minutes free weights, 15 minutes core work and 14km on stationary bike (40min) drank 1.2L water

This mornings weigh in 63.8kg

It was flavoured water so I think a whole bottle is like 4 kcal - I'd rather over estimate a little than under.

I forgot to add I did have a banana as a snack!

But I included that in my kcals just forgot to say here

Today I've had:

Natural yoghurt, granola and strawberries for breakfast.

Prawn salad sandwich for lunch.

Dinner is burgers, wedges and salad.

Had some lentil chips and a cookie as snacks and a couple of coffees.

Not the healthiest day but MFP has calculated this at 1778 cals which isn't too bad for me.

CuriousLadyBird · 17/07/2023 18:15

I fell off it a bit today but I'm confused I did the James smith macros calculator and it says I should aim for 2140kcal which idk if that's true then I'm way under Grin

Breakfast was large. I took baby's to nursery and went straight into town without breakfast and had a Tim Hortons so lesson learned to have breakfast beforehand!

Grilled bagel with sausage
Hash brown and a lemonade which was 604kcal

Dinner again was a chicken pasta salad at 430kcal

And for tea was another ready meal with naan which came to 672kcal

Which brings me to 1706kcal so if James smith is right I'm in a deficit if not I'm 141kcal over but can bring it back during the week off need be!

I've just done the same calculator and it's saying mine is 1570 calories a day in which case I'm over. I aim for 1600 a day but always go over.

Mamiamamia · 17/07/2023 19:39

This mornings weigh in 63.8

fastesd till 2pm, had a total of around 1200 calories closed feasting window at 7pm. 1 hour walk, 20 min on stationary bike (7km). Will do some weights with DH later tonight.

CuriousLadyBird · 18/07/2023 18:59

Little one was really unwell last night so had no sleep.

I was really poorly this morning so didn't get up until dinner time Sad

Dinner (we had McDonald's but this will not be an everyday thing)
Mcchicken sandwich, chips and a Coke Zero was 707kcal
