I know when your EBF you need something like an extra 250 calories a day but what about when it's just an extra to weaning.

My little one is nearly 19 months and although he is a good eater he still loves BF. I would say he still had it several times throughout the day. Does this mean I need extra calories for this or not as its not as much as a newborn? I'm trying to loose the last of the baby weight now but don't know if I should factor anything extra in to my daily intake.

I personally found when I dropped my calories a bit too much, my baby, even whilst weaning pretty well, seemed hungrier. I assume the content of my milk changed and wasn't as satisfying. Mine were of similar ages as well.

Try dropping the extra calories first, so you are not in too much deficit, and see how it affects your baby, then go from there.
