Using Hello Fresh/Gousto

I have 2-3 stone to lose and a lack of self control!

I usually work long hours and run out of time to Cook, prep and shop so I have been using these meals, and trying to choose low fat options and sub any oil with frylite etc (less cheese in or swap for low fat)

Has anyone had a good experience weight loss with these types of meals? I feel like they make me appreciate food a lot more as they taste nice and take the hassle out of shopping and coming up with imaginative ideas

Or are there any other options?

They're easy, but keep in mind the calorie count they give you doesn't include any extras you have to add yourself i.e. flour, butter, oil etc... so it can change quite dramatically depending on the recipe.

Otherwise go for healthy readymeals, allplants or something similar.

I try to avoid adding anything extra and sub or leave out oils and cheese
MFP has these totalled up in their steady bar too so I can get a rough idea
I like the Joe wicks ones

I can’t avoid calcium I really need to up my intake as low bone density (am also taking multivit)

I use HelloFresh 6 meals a week and am loosing on it-I just weigh and track all the ingredients for each recipe on my fitness pal. It’s just being mindful on choices and balancing out the heavier calorie picks if I choose them with a lighter breakfast/lunch, using 1cal spray instead of oil to cook etc.
