Hi all
So a good few years ago I got skinny lots of people say too skinny through calorie counting. Years later I'm the biggest I've ever been. I'm nearly 16 stone at 5 ft 4. Im getting married in June 22. I've got so much weight to lose and eating enough to lose a pound a week but always go over!!! I just struggle so much. I've even been drinking coke zero, having fruit but I still make bad choices in everyday life. I don't want to be obese on my wedding day. I don't want to be obese at all I want to be a healthy weight. Does anyone have any tips or advice please

Download nutracheck. Weigh and log every single thing you eat and drink. Don't set your calorie limit too low or you will end up binging and give up. Do 10,000 steps a day minimum.

If you make a bad choice then log it and try to make up for it another day. Look at your calories as weekly instead of daily.

I have struggled with yo yo dieting too. I know how it feels to want the weight gone tomorrow. But what you need to work with sooner or later is how to maintain any weight loss so work on gradual habit change along the way as well as counting calories, thinking about which foods make you feel like crap along with their calorie content. It's a good idea to ditch the diet coke as artificial sweeteners make you crave sugar anyway. If you screw up, just move on and cut back other days if you can but don't go to extremes. I've looked at the maintainers board on the MFP forums and a few of them lost their weight quite slowly or in stages.

Thank you both

I know lots of people swear by calorie counting, but I'm not a fan tbh. It's time-consuming and boring. You don't need to count calories to know what it is that's making you obese. If you are, for example, eating lots of biscuits, chocolate, crisps and takeaways, drinking sweet drinks or lots of booze, sitting down a lot and taking no proper exercise, then you can tackle those things without logging anything at all. You don't need to know how many calories are in a chocolate muffin vs an aplle to know which one is better. Losing weight is not easy. But calorie counting doesn't magically give you willpower!

Mysimba tablets. They're like witchcraft.

Yeah but not everyone wants or likes to eat healthy, I've done calorie counting before and dropped lots of weight. I'm in a good place with it now. Yeah it doesn't teach you good eating habits as such but does to an extent and you learn how much to eat.

Appetite suppressants. By prescription only, and you can't get them on the NHS.

They are in heat every 16 days for 10 hours or so. The odds are that they aren’t pregnant but the it is possible that they all are.
