MFP or Nutracheck

I've had a little look round both apps and love the features of adding in a home cooked meal and it working out the calories etc.

I'm very new to all of this, MFP I get a higher calories allowance with but nutracheck is around 250 less a day allowance but more tailored to UK foods etc.
Plus when I search something it gives me exactly what I'm looking for and now a load of varied options for something simple like a chicken breast.

I'm just confused over how many calories I do need. Everywhere seems to tell me a different amount?

Yeah, sven online calculators may differ. I checked tdee on few just from google, compared to mfp, found average and decided that that must be somewhat correct number.
