Hey all, I have been calorie counting for the last 2 weeks - aiming for 1200 a day. However every time i weigh myself at home I get completely different results. Example tonight I weighed in at 68kg, stood on the scales again and was 72kg???

Stand in the scales once a week....once

I never do... I stand them every morning and evening and it really annoys me! 😂

Get new scales. It's not your weight that fluctuates by almost a stone in a matter of seconds

New scales.

Surely it’s pretty clear your scales aren’t accurate?

What kind of floor is there in the room you have been weighing yourself? You can get a huge variation on wooden boards if they have any flex to them. Carpet is terrible. I keep my scales in the downstairs bathroom which has a very stable poured-concrete floor. I weigh no more than twice a week and only ever first thing in the morning after using the loo but before I eat or drink anything. Weight does vary throughout the day so you need to keep as many variables as possible constant.

Some of them need to be calibrated every time you move them. So you stand on them for a sec to get them to say zero and then get on again
