Do you eat back the calories you burn during exercise?

For example, my daily target is 1200 calories which I hit with 3 meals. However, I also tend to burn around 300 a day through exercise which My Fitness Pal then gives me back. Should I then add in snacks to eat the additional 300 calories? Or just stick to the 1,200 and ignore what’s burnt through exercise?

I haven’t been doing so and don’t feel hungry so don’t feel like I need to eat those 300 extra calories but I’ve just seen a video where they said you should eat what you burn off.

Noooooo!
The only time I never lost, and actually gained, was when I ate back exercise calories. I’ve seen it discussed on threads before, MFP overestimates calories burned. Better to not log exercise at all. I managed to lose 3 stone by just logging what I was eating.

Okay good to know. I think I’ll just unlink my Apple Watch from MFP in that case to remove any temptation!
