Can I loose a stone in 12 days?

Through exercise and healthy eating I went from a size 12 to an 8. Then covid happened And the weight slowly crept back on, I haven't been able to exercise and healthy eating went out the window due to time. I am annoyed with myself as my 40 is coming up and I wanted to look my best. I am a curvy 10 but want to get back to an 8. Feeling bit shit about myself, put on weight, my roots are bad, eyebrows crap and bad skin. I can't get my hair, nails, facial, tan done as I normally would due to covid. We won't be doing much now but think DH has arranged a few online things and we're going for a picnic. So don't want to look back at photos and think yuk.

I don't want to starve myself by is it possible to loose a stone or near to in 12 days? If so what would I eat? I can't exercise again until the dcs go back to school.

@dreamsarefree

Why can't you exercise while DC are at home?
Suppose I could try and do a online video. At the moment I am home schooling all day and then working. It's hard to fit in. Would rather do it via food.

Try 30 day shred. It’s only 25 minutes IIRC.

I eat loads of things. Just make swaps like rice for cauli rice and skip mayo, butter etc cuts the calories of meals right down. I'll have a bit of chicken then rest of the plate will be veg for example. Bulk up all meals. I have raw veg with booked egg for lunch then cooked veg for dinner. I still have snacks too!

No

Google cabbage soup diet.

It’s vile, you will only do it once but I’ve never known anyone to lose less than a stone sticking to it rigidly their first week.

SkiingIsHeaven · 01/03/2021 00:05

Are you planning to chop a limb off?

You could do it in half an hour then.

Mind you, I wouldn't recommend it.

PickAChew · 01/03/2021 00:08

That would be stupid. Unless you're already very heavy and bloated it would be impossible. You'd need a daily 4000 calorie deficit.

PickAChew · 01/03/2021 00:12

And you're size 8? See a doctor if yo think you're fat.

DenisetheMenace · 01/03/2021 00:14

Possibly but you’d put it straight back on again as soon as you started eating anything near normal again.
Through years of experience I can tell you that’s really not the way to go. Slow, steady and sustainable. Do it over 6 weeks and it’s more likely will stay off.
“Dieting” is generally a bad idea. You need to adopt a healthy way of eating that’s sustainable.

Don’t. You’ll make yourself ill.

Hi there! I lost a stone in 3 weeks back in January (went from size 12-14 to size 10) - I've been doing intermittent fasting (breakfast at 12.30 pm, snack when felt hungry and a high protein dinner at 5.30pm), loads of water, loads of greens (broccoli, spinach etc), 5k run every day and weight lifting 2-3 times a day. I had a cheat meal every Friday (takeaway+wine) but would fast all day on Sunday OR Monday (I was only taking green tea with barista oatly milk when felt hungry (it's surprisingly filling) + loads of water on those days).
Also I swear by my vacuum massage cup! It makes such a difference in skin appearance!

Strict no carbs and yes you could. But you will feel like death for at least the first 2 weeks.

Or you could accept that a size 10 is still a good size to be, I used to be a 20 and would have killed to be a size 10. I now am because of trauma and an eating disorder, I dont recommend it.
