My fitness Pal is giving me 1400 Cal's per day but my tdee -500 is 1700 per day! What one is more accurate?

Depends on your height and weight now and how much exercise you do. 1400 does sound low though.

Sorry I was meaning what's more accurate tdee-500 or my fitness Pal? Low cause I'm a short arse, 5'1 and 60kg 😊

Probably a spam message above.

Try the higher count for now and see how you're doing after a month. If you cut calories too low too quickly its less sustainable and you're more likely to lose muscle mass than just fat.

I think you will really struggle to lose weight on 1700kcal if you are 5ft1 and 60kg - your bmi must be very close if not within a healthy weight at that point. Are you sure your calculation is right? I'm 5ft3 and 61kg and my maintenance calories are 1500 so I have to be close to 1000kcal to lose weight reliably

I think mfp might be right.
as a short woman a tdee of 2200 seems very high.
I'm tall and quite active and my tdee is under 2000.

Defo going to go with the lower one on my fitness Pal. My weight hovers about the top end of BMI, so just want to be a wee bit under. I wouldn't survive on 1000 per day, IV a really active job and love my exercise!! 1400 see how it goes x
