Losing pound a day

I have been on 1200cal for 3 weeks now

Last week regardless of strictly sticking to the set calories on fitness pal - I didn't lose a single pound.

I fought everything not to chuck it al in and binge, and the next three days I have lost a pound a day.

Does anyone experienced this?

Fitness pal has told me that sticking to 1200 calories I would lose 2.5lbs this week - so it has evened out in the end. Just strange how no change for 7 days and then losing a pound 3 days in a row.

Thank you in advance for any wisdom. Trying to lose the baby weight from my baby who is now 1.5........

Yep. Sometimes I’ve been disappointed when I’ve been so careful and not lost anything then some days I’m amazed the scales suddenly show a couple of llbs gone when I’ve thought “sod it” and had 2 glasses of wine and a packet of crisps extra! I don’t stress about it now, as long as you get to where you want to be in the end it doesn’t matter if you have days when you stay the same, or even go up a pound or two because it will be water not fat and will go back down in the next day or two. Do you have Instagram?

YES.

I have also been doing MFP rigidly since May 4.

I have lost a stone.

However...I feel it’s been painfully slow. Some days I’ll inexplicably go up a pound when I feel I’ve done everything in my power to lose. Then (less often) I’ll jump on the scales and progress will have commenced. No big drops for me unfortunately.

I totally understand the frustration. It is so awful when you feel you’ve really sacrificed and the result the next day is to have gained weight!!!

For me I’ve lost one-two pounds a week which is normal. There’s been the odd week where I’ve lost slightly more. But I think getting on the scale each day is the killer.

MFP give everyone 1200 is generic not indivdual

Find out your TDEE be honest with how active you are as most people are less active than they think

Yes, I find this on 1200 calories a day or under it's frustrating. TMI but often a bowel movement helps!
