What are your 1200 cals days like?

3 meals + snacks where possible but not essential.
1200cals a day.

Anyone mastered it? The calories seem to go no where! Sometimes I am having only one meal a day & nearing 1000 cals with a snack. How do you split that into 3?

I just split it into two meals instead of three as i find I enjoy the food more. I am never hungry for breakfast so I eat brunch at 11am and dinner at 5pm . I can usually fit in a glass of wine in the evening too! Its tough to begin with but gets easier.

Yesterday:
Breakfast- 240
2 egg whites, 1 egg, slice of bread, dash of ketchup, slice of turkey chorizo (herbs, salt, pepper)

Lunch - 180 (normally I have salads about 250, this one was really filling and oddly low though)
mixed leaves, cucumber, green pepper, prawns, soy, honey, worcestershire sauce, cabbage, flax seed whole

Dinner- 400
Batched cooked vegetarian balti with rice

Snacks- 353
Snack 1- Apple and stilton
Snack 2- ryvita rye with quark and chopped hardboiled egg whites, fresh chives, salt and pepper

This came under 1200 and i wasn't starving. I found taht wholesome snacks do it for me. "Diet" crisps and stuff just make me hungry.
I am normally on 1400 (and one free day😁) so have the higher cal salad and main meals do move between 350-600. I just adjust the rest accordingly. My snacks are usually less, but I fancied stilton😂

I skip breakfast and don’t snack and follow the 15:8 - so I have a coffee or two in the morning, eat something like a tuna salad or cauliflower cheese at about 12.30 and then have something like homemade chicken curry or bolognese (all bulked with lentils or veg) at about 7pm. I’ve never been a fan of breakfast so it’s pretty straightforward for me.
