How to split the calories through the day

I’m calorie counting with a 1500 limit starting today. I did this before and managed really well, though back then I wasn’t eating breakfast so I could pool my calories over lunch and dinner. I’ve since realised I have far fewer IBS symptoms if I eat breakfast so I’ve started to do this regularly and feel better for it but it does feel more difficult calorie counting.

So, today I’ve done 250 for breakfast and nearly 400 for lunch (which I was ready for). Dinner will be 600 but I’ve got until about 7.30-8 before I have that and I’m starving with only a couple of hundred calories to spare, less even as I haven’t added in drinks yet (though that’s mainly tea with skimmed milk so not many).

Any tips? The IBS is SO much better with breakfast but otherwise I wouldn’t eat it, I feel the same at lunchtime either way. I actually went down to 1200 last time to lose the last few pounds so I know I can but I’m just sooooooo hungry.

Advice gratefully received (whilst cursing my stupid, comfort eating, sports injury related weight gain).

Thanks.

I can have 1850 per day

Breakfast 300-400 9am
Dinner 400-600 12-1pm
Tea 700-900 5-6pm

What ever is left is for drinks and maybe the odd snack but I don't snack much. So if I'm having a small dinner ill have a higher calorie tea.
Do you have set meal times and do you meal plan? I find meal planning is a big help.

Meal times vary a bit depending on if/when I’m working and I do try to meal plan. I’ve figured out today that yesterday’s problem was probably caused by not being at work! On work days I have breakfast at my desk instead of when the kids get up so it makes everything a bit later. I think that’s helped me through today. Also, I’m working, not cooking macaroni cheese for the kids so that makes calorie counting easier!

I do 1500 a day

250 for breakfast
350 for lunch
700 for dinner
200 for evening snacks - usually a big bowl of fruit, but it can give me a magnum or a bar of chocolate if I'm really desperate for something naughty

I've been on 1200 for two months so far.. just another six months to go!!

300 for breakfast
350 for lunch
400-500 for dinner

I try to save 100 cals per day so I can have a weekend treat - maybe helps with a meal out or invested in a run of Halo Top in front of the telly!

If it wasn't working I don't think I could maintain it but I'm creating 1000 calorie deficit per day (inc. 2 running sessions and 3 gym sessions per week) and sure enough am losing 2 pounds per week.

I vary between 1000 cals - 1500 cals (average around 1200) and I split it between two meals a day...

Week days:
Breakfast: fast
Lunch: 200-250 cals
Dinner: 600 cals
Snack and drinks: 200

Weekends:

Breakfast: 300 cals
Lunch: fast
Dinner: 600-800 cals
Snacks and drinks: 400 cals

No idea yet how it'll look once I've lost the remaining 9lb and I'm maintaining, I'll still probably stick to 18:6 fasting in the weekdays.
