I normally take these SERIOUSLY
You need chocolate, crisps, popcorn, sweets, a tango ice blast... I could go on all day.

But now I don't want to just sabotage all my weight loss efforts, but equally I cannot even cope with taking celery sticks and dip as my friend on SW suggested.

Any low cal low fat suggestions?

eat real crisps? they have 607kj/145kcal per serving but they are low in fat x

Yeahsurewhatever · 07/06/2019 18:22

Never even heard of them before, will have a look tonight!

I don't understand why eating in the cinema is a thing. Why can't you just not eat? 0 calories.

Oh yeah thanks
Super helpful
Thank god you were here to provide that important piece of advice

Nooo not celery sticks! Too noisy for a start. Is popcorn with a bit of salt no good? Handfull of boiled sweets (with non russely wrappers)?

GMtoBe · 07/06/2019 19:42

Buy plain corn kernals and pop them yourself at home and take them with you. They're surprisingly tasty and very low calorie!

GMtoBe · 07/06/2019 19:43

Also kallo do milk chocolate rice cakes. Not too bad for calories and taste chocolaty.

Napssavelives · 07/06/2019 19:43

Aldi do a nice sweet and salty popcorn . About 100 calls a pack , that and some nice fruit? Melon , mango ect

Yeahsurewhatever · 08/06/2019 08:24

Thanks, going today, some homemade popcorn sounds good, feels A bit more authentic and less like a punishment. I bought some strawberries last night, even splashed out on the more expensive packet so hopefully that'll make me feel better about them if they're at least not those horrible watery things.

I’m sure ice blast is sugar free now so that should be ok, check the cinemas website for nutritional info.
On insta I’ve seen people on sw take things like fruit- but like a nice selection of mango, melon, blueberries, small bag of popcorn, mikado sticks, mini freddo, those pink and white wafer things, obviously not all at once lol

It's a mystery why some people can't watch a film without eatingHmm It's not obligatory to munch your way though a film.
Have a meal before you go to the cinema. Have a meal when you get home. You'll survive without eating for two hours or so

Myownpath · 08/06/2019 10:40

I’m currently on sw and went to the cinema this week. I had “free food” all day and then had a small salted pop corn a curly wurley and a Diet Coke. And had a 3lb weight loss. If you compromise you can do it! Good luck

Yeahsurewhatever · 12/06/2019 17:22

It's a mystery to me why anyone goes the cinema at all? Watch TV? You don't need to pay to watch another screen.

I ended up having a small pack of popcorn - 80 calories. Some really tasty strawberries, some watermelon and a diet coke. To be honest i didn't feel like I was missing out at all and it was crazy to think how much id normally munch through, but just a couple felt like a great treat.

Big bag of home made popcorn, popped without fat and sprinkled with salt (and smoky paprika if you like it) or with sweetener. And a big diet coke with loads of ice.

woodcutbirds · 12/06/2019 17:26

Oh crossed with you. But thinking alike.
