Hi everyone!

I'm new here and currently 30 weeks pregnant with my first. I've had issues with food pre pregnancy although I'm not slim and over the last two months they've become really bad! I struggle to force myself to eat and when I do instantly feel awful and feel the need to make myself sick!

I've gained 3.2kg since the start of my pregnancy up until the 30 week mark. I have no idea how this sits on a scale of any 'averages'

Any advice on other soon to be mums who have felt this way. I feel guilty and horrible eating because of how my body is looking at this stage.

Thanks xo

I think you should talk to your midwife about what is expected weight gain during pregnancy, and probably your GP too if you’re making yourself sick.
Some people gain barely anything during pregnancy and some gain 4 stone, it depends on lots of factors. Genes will play a part, some will depend on size of the baby, how much fluid you’re carrying. The important thing is to eat nutritious food to help that baby grow strong and healthy. Good luck to you.
