How to GAIN weight

Hello all,
Not sure if this is the best place to post but need some advice...
I'm 5"4 and weight 8 stone. Have recently lost about a stone and a half in weight due to stress (a really difficult court case!)
My appetite has just disappeared! Some days I could not eat until dinner!
I'm really trying to force myself to eat a lot through out the day but I just end up feeling sick.
So question is.... What's the best way I can gain weight and quickly - really hating my body atm :(
Has anyone tried complan!
Thanks you x

Hi, I'm underweight and constantly eat (I'm naturally this size) so if I'm stressed and skip a meal then things can get dangerous. You have to make yourself eat at certain times to get back into a regular pattern, even if you're not hungry. Have breakfast (not fruit or coffee, something substantial), morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner. Drink a glass of 100% fruit juice (not watered down) or milk (on its own or mixed with cocoa powder, latte etc) with every meal. Have something before bed too. You could even try a bottle of Ensure or meal replacement drinks in between meals as snacks.

Look after yourself and try to destress. Hope things get better soon x

Get complan or a sports protein powder or even slim fast and have it as an additional snack in between meals. Use full fat milk, not skimmed.

Stir cream or cheese in to other dishes.

Add extra spoonful of powdered milk in to milk for cereal etc.

(All three from HCP advice when trying to build a child up post major illness)

Thank you so much for the advice! Will definitely be trying out these things! Brought some complan this morning too and surprised at how nice it tastes!

Eat slightly too large portions and always have snacks between meals, drink alcohol, never forget to eat, do

Plenty of high calorie drinks. Toast with thick toppings (butter, jam, peanut butter etc) if you can’t face a full meal. Nuts. Eat little and often.
