I cannot give up the love of my life! I've cut down, but still want it a few times per week. Say at the weekend and a couple of slices with cold meats and salad to make a sandwich on the odd weekday.

The question is (bearing in mind I want to drop a stone but am in no rush)...

whole WHEAT or whole GRAIN?

I like granary loaves. I can't eat regular white or brown anymore, it gives me heartburn and makes me bloated. I have made a conscious effort to reduce my intake over the last few years. Today, for example, my other half made bacon and egg butties for lunch, but I had mine as an open sandwich on one small slice of bread.
