H&M sizing

Hi,

Just want someone to make me feel better really!

I’m a size 10... (I wear size 10 topshop skinny jeans, they fit but they’re tight)... just brought some size small H&M leggings and I couldn’t Even fit them over my ankle.

Are there sizings rubbish or is it just me?

Their sizing is a complete nonsense .

I currently have L, XL, size 20 and size 12 sized clothes from H&M!

I have size 18 short and size 14 skinny jeans from there, it’s utterly random!

Ahhhh I’m having a down day about my legs anyway and putting on them leggings did not help!

Their sizing is completely unfathomable.

If it's something from their divided line, which I think is the more fashionable aimed at teens range, you need at least 2 sizes up. Usually I'm a size bigger in their regular stuff.

With the S, M, L and XL stuff, just pick one and hope for the best. I find M is tiny and L swamps me.

Oh thank god! I went there last week and I'm usually a 10 but couldn't fit in anything - was more like a 14....thought it was just me so went home and drank 🍷!

I believe they're overhauling their sizing, but while there's old stock still available it's even more chaotic than usual.

I've had two H&M shopping trips recently. On one I bought five tops that varied between S, M and L, M trousers. The trousers were a little on the large side, probably could have got an S. At the same time I tried on another pair of trousers, and the 14 wouldn't go past my thighs.

Last week I bought two tops. One 12 and one 10.

I tried to put on a dress the other day in 'M' and it fit everywhere apart from the hips, it was a smidge tight - so I tried the L and it wouldn't go over my boobs or arms, completely unfathomable
