Hi all, was wondering what people's thoughts are. I am male, I used to do a very physical job for 14 years. Never had to watch what I eat or drink , as I am older 40 and this will be a factor, I want to lose a bit of weight especially the stomach and chest area. I know how to exercise, but without crucifying my food. Does anyone has any good advice on simple but good foods. I have a large family so cooking is a chore at the best of times so if anyone has any ideas on healthy family foods that all could eat would be great.
Also due to the kids any healthy fun ideas would be nice also.

Thanks and I look forward to any advice.

Popcorn is a great snack
Jelly sugar free too
Sweetcorn curry and rice very simple easy and quick to make plus cheap
Protein cheese with low carb mama lupa wraps with garlic and corriander and paprika or with just tomoato
Jerk soya chicken with rice
Veg chilli
Pizza base style with low carb bread add pineapple onions mushrooms and sweet corn with a quick tomoato purée base and protein cheese

If you give me types of food you like I can accordingly give you receipes etc
