Using the 7 day free trial at the moment and it seems much easier to use than MFP which I used last year to lose 1.5 stone baby weight. Still got a stone to go and really need to be disciplined and am wondering whether to go for the 3 month offer at £18. Not cheap for content which is available for free but am thinking that it might just help me stick to it if I've paid for it.

Is anyone using it? Would you say it was ok value for the money?

Yes, I've used it and thought it was very good. I found it easier to find branded foods and the serving sizes are more appropriate for someone in the UK (assuming you are, of course!).

The only reason I stopped using it and went back to MFP is because I can't link it up to Garmin, which is a real shame.

I do, love it Smile

Just started using it I'm very impressed with it so far.

I use it when I remember and really like it. I just couldn’t get on with MFP at all. This seems much more user friendly.

Yes, I lost 2 stone using this app. I find it really easy to use, I could never get on with mfp. Think I pay £3.99 app only per month, worth every penny. I quite like the forum too.

Princessfaffalot · 24/09/2019 15:27

Yes! I love it, so much easier than mfp. I’ve lost 12lb in 4 weeks.

ChequerBoard · 07/11/2019 21:24

Yes both DH and I are using it. I've lost 5.5 stone and DH has lost 2.5 stone. Wouldn't be without it, love the ability to create my own recipes and work out the calories and carbs per portion.

Ha! Just noticed I posted on this thread a clue of years ago! Does the app connect to Garmin yet? That's the only reason I carried on with MFP.

@SallyOMalley
I've just joined today and it seems really user friendly. Hopefully it'll work for me.
There is an option for Garmin now x

I have been using Nutracheck for 2 weeks now. Starting weight 12 stone 2 and aim is 9 stone 10 by August. I am 5ft 5 and 46. Week one was 3.5 off and I have weigh in on a Monday to keep me in track. Anyone want to join me??

Katesmate123 · 19/01/2020 12:55

Anyone? I really like itSmile

jadethom · 19/01/2020 17:41

I've not tried Nutracheck but swear by MFP. I've been using it religiously for a couple of years now and love it (think I'm almost on a 600 day streak logging in)!

Do people think it's worth switching over? I've heard good things but feels like a hassle.

Katesmate123 · 19/01/2020 18:06

Hi Jade, It sounds like you’re very used to it now. I suppose it’s whichever works the best for you it’s the calorie counting that will work on whichever app. 600 days is very impressive!! Do you mind me asking how much you’ve lost and how many calories you are eating.
