I've always been on the plump side, but I've just weighed myself and I'm horrified. 13 stone 2 lbs. I'm 5 foot 4 inches and 46 years old. My knees hurt when I go up stairs and I'm straining a size 16.

I'm going to start calorie counting, with the occasional fast day. I tend to eat less in the week so I can have nice dinners and wine at weekends. I work full time but will aim to go to the gym 3 times a week.

I can't tell anyone IRL what I weigh, but if I want to get down to 10 stone (or even 9 and a half) then I've got over three stone to lose. Anyone fancy befriending me on MFP? Same user name as this one. I do a lot better with company. Alternatively let me know your mfp name and I'll see if I can add you.

Fingers crossed.

Thank you!

I've had quite a lot of friend requests Smilethat I can't currently accept as MFP won't accept my user name and password.

I've changed my password to no avail so technical support are now in the case.

Hopefully soon!
