Do you all count the calories of fruit salad and veg ? And weigh everything ?? Have just started calorie counting again Smilehave lost 3 stone over the past couple of years doing all different diets but now stuck ! would like to loose another 1-1.5 stone to get back to what I was before becoming a fatty ! ( carnt even blame the kids for that ) Any ideas & help would be great 👍new to mums net so not really sure how it all works yet X

Hi, and congrats on the loss so far.

Yes, I did count the calories of absolutely everything when I was actively losing weight last year. OK, with a few things the amount of calories is so low that it wouldn't really make much if a difference, but others are rather higher and routinely missing off those could make a difference, eg if you ate enough fruit to cover your 5 a day, it'll be about 250 calories, a serving of peas is getting on for 80.

That might not stop you losing weight, but it might slow the rate quite a bit.

Thank you that's helpful I've started using mfp app which says I should have 1200 cals a day so trying to have just low cal fruit & bulking meals out with veg & salads , fingers crossed Smile
