Best calories counting App please?

I am trying this calorie counting business, but I am fed up already (after half a day!) as it is too time consuming, is there an app that can help without getting my irritation level up the scales? I realise that I am after a quick fix again, and this is probably incompatible with weight loss strategies :(

I am using the my fitness pal app on iPhone. You put in what foods you eat at each meal, and it tells you the calories etc, and you put in your exercise each day and it tells you how many calories you burn, it is working for me, I have managed to loose 7lbs in 3wks. So not a quick fix, more a healthy slow steady loss

I used mfp and it is great, but I have since found nutracheck and I much prefer it for lots of reasons. It's not free though, so if you want free then mfp is the way to go.

Another vote for my fitness pal here.

Thanks! I have downloaded MFP and I think I can manage this. I liked the fact that at the end of the day it tells you how much more weight I would have in 5 weeks time if I'd carry on eating what I was eating today. It did motivate me. I am still feeling hungry and I had 1700 calories today. I reckon that on a normal day I would easily be eating 2500-3000 kcal, so this tracking down business is going to work if I can only stick with it.

I started using mfp a few days ago. I had a lovely surprise today when I got home from walking around town with my daughter and it told me how many steps I'd walked and that I'd burned off 163 calories! I think it will be really good for spurring me on.

I use mfp and have everyday for about a year.

I find it better to use the barcode scanner to input food where possible as a lot of foods, input by people are incorrect.

I also have a fitbit that links to mfp, with helps monitor calories burnt more accurately.

I burn about 2700kcals a day and eat anywhere between 1500-2000kcal.

I used the fitbit to kick start me after not losing for a while and I have lost 5lb in two weeks. It's links with friend and we have challenges with each other and its great to see just how active you have been. It's not great with tracking non step based exercise. But I always make sure I do 10k steps on top of doing weights.
