How do you maintain?

Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but how do I know roughly how many calories I have to eat to maintain my weight once I've reached my goad weight? I've lost 9 pounds on 1200 calories a day, have one stone left to go to reach my target of 9 stone,

What's your height and age? How active are you?

I would start increasing your calories 100 calories per day per further 2lb lost, e.g. 1300 when you are 9st 12lb, 1400 when you are 9st 10lb. That will take you to about 1900 at 9st 2lb and then you can rethink.

Thanks! I'm 39& 5ft. Have a desk job but I do various exercise DVDs at home. So you think about 1900 to maintain? Seems so much after 1200 for so long x

Hmm, 1900 may be too high. I did similar to what I just described, as I approached my target. I over-shot a bit too.

I found it quite tough, mentally, to go from weight loss to maintenance.
