That is incredible- well done!
You have inspired me to try to go back and try again.

That's amazing Nancy! I hope in 10 weeks I'm STILL logging in and if I lose anything near that I'll be ecstatic!

Thanks

Well done, it's brilliant isn't it? I've been going nearly 7 weeks and lost 19lbs. I wish I'd have found this years ago as it's pretty straight forward and best of all it's free ??

Rockchick1984 · 13/03/2015 16:11

Fantastic!! How many calories have you stuck to?

Pippin8 · 14/03/2015 09:44

Wow, well done. I started it 2 weeks ago, I'm on 1260 calories which I thought would be hard, but actually it's not. Do you weigh weekly?

I've not weighed yet or checked my measurements. I think I'll wait until I've completed a full month.
I've also rejoined the gym & go 3-4 times a week for 40-60 mins. Hoping for good results.

Love MFP. Did it last year and lost 16lbs although after a bad injury (2 broken ribs and an ingrown toenail) I fell off the exercise wagon and started eating more. I then put half a stone back on Hmm I started it again yesterday and am aiming to lose 11 lbs.

m0therofdragons · 14/03/2015 12:11

I've been doing it for 8 weeks but had a couple of naughty weeks within that due to dc and dh's birthdays. Raw cake mix is my enemy! Anyway, I've lost 13 lbs and love the diet. I'm still eating my normal meals just in a much more controlled way. I have another 10 lbs to lose but not hating my body so worried I'll get lazy. Trying to keep going for now. It's made a big difference to my shape.

Well, I weighed and had lost 5lb in 2 weeks! I'm very happy. I do a very sedentary job at the minute so I try & walk my dog every day. Then I go to the gym at least 3 times a week & alternate cardio & weights. I've also bought a 6kg kettle bell & do a 10 minute beginners routine on YouTube if 1-2 a week when I've not been to the gym or walked much.

nicknamenonsense · 23/03/2015 09:01

Reading this has inspired me to get back on to mfp. I used it a few months ago but have been eating a lot of junk recently and weighed myself this am and have put on 7lbs Sad I had wanted to lose half a stone before so now I need to lose a stone to be a weight I will really be happy with.
Do people think a stone is realistic before May half term? We are going away and I'm hoping that will give me some motivation!

Pippin8 · 25/03/2015 21:38

Yes deffo if you stick to it. I'm surprised how much fat & sugar are in things. I've had period bloating so am going to weigh & measure again next week. Ive definitely noticed my hips & bum feel slimmer.

babygiraffe86 · 25/03/2015 21:42

Well done all of you!! I'm 10 days in and just getting used to being strict with myself.
Been on and off it for ages and a 10 day streak is the best I've managed in a long while, hoping for a 10lb reduction in 5 weeks ready for jolly holidays - keeping my fingers crossed. I like cheese and carbs too much :-( struggle with work lunches and not just getting a stuffed full sarnie every day :-(

seekingthesun · 26/03/2015 20:52

That's brilliant! I usually use MFP for a month or so, then completely go off the rails. Thanks for the extra motivation to stick with it!
